BATTERY

First of all you need to check the consumption in Watts of your device, read the Volt and Ampere output values in the label under the original power supply of your device.
After which the 2 values must be multiplied, for example if 20V – 3A is written under the power supply, it means that the device consumes 60W.
At this point you are able to choose which of our power banks / power generators are compatible with your device.

SOLAR

The connection between our solar panel and our battery is PLUG & PLAY, simply connect the included MC4 / DC cable from the MC4 connectors of the solar panel to the DC input port of the battery.

We recommend the customer a solar panel that is fully supported by the power generator. This means that if our generators can support 120W max input, we recommend choosing our 130W solar panels.

Remember that the efficiency is never regular, it means that a 130W panel exposed in the central hours (especially at noon) can provide 120W / 130W, instead when the sun is lower with less powerful it can provide less energy.

Obviously our smaller 50W and 60W models are also compatible, but we do not recommend them because it would take too long to recharge a large capacity generator.

If you want to use your own solar panel from another brand, make sure the Vmp value of your solar panel is compatible with the voltage range of the generator’s solar controller.

We recommend to customer a solar panel which is fully supported by the power bank. This means that if our power bank can support Max 40W input, we recommend choosing our 50W / 60W solar panels.

Remember that the efficiency is never regular, it means that a 60W panel exposed in the central hours (especially at noon) can provide 50W / 60W, instead when the sun is lower with less powerful it can provide less energy.

We do not recommend using more powerful panels because connecting a 100W or 200W solar panel would be useless, because the power bank will always take only 40W. It may only be useful in partially cloudy or cloudy weather situations, as the larger panel can produce more energy.

If you want to use your own solar panel from another brand, make sure the Vmp value of your solar panel is compatible with the voltage range of the power bank’s solar controller.
